Never would of thought of "taps", to me taps embodies reverence and it would be good to have that in our service. I have played taps when I was in High School in ROTC band, wish I could still play. Maybe we could down load it off the I-net ???

Comment on Memorial Day - May 29, 2006

Yes, I think during our worship would be a great time to honor those who have died for our country. Maybe find a recording of "Taps" to be played and have a moment of silence.

Comment on The Way - May 10, 2006 pm

You would of really had to been there and see the way it all unfolded as Bro. David taught it, I really felt impressed by God to ask Bro. David if he had something to share and boy did he."THE WAY" the world don't want to hear this but he is "The Way" indicating the only way to God is thru Jesus. Oh I know a skeptic may eventually read this and say that I am wrong but to you mister skeptic I say this, Do you really want to wait until the day the whole world stands before God to find out who is truly wrong hear ?? Do you?? Then keep denying Jesus and seeking other religions (I almost put alternative in place of other, but realized there are no alternative to God). Stay on the path you are on and one day you will meet Jesus ,"But" then it will be to late. "Oh I know" you don't believe in Heaven and God and all those fables ,you are a modernist with modernistic views etc....you will die and it is all over or maybe you will die and keep returning to earth in some form until you get it right and be transported to a parrelal universe.Hey friend the Bible speaks of you in many, many passages. I dare you to come to New Hope and allow me to share them with you!! God can change the mind of the most hardened skeptic, Oh!! by the way the current atheist count in "Hell" = 0 , they all now believe in God. Don't wait to get there to change your view point. God Loves You and even though this may of seemed harsh "I do TO".

Comment on Reverence In God's Sanctuary

It is of the utmost importance, God is not the author of confusion, irreverence causes confusion !!!

Comment on Reverence In God's Sanctuary

Reverence! Does the church as a whole even remember what it is? How can the sanctuary or any other place set aside for fellowship ever be reverenced if adults and children alike have no reverence for the Lord in their homes and hearts? It is no secret that man operates internally to externally. The LORD has clearly taught that to us through his word. The lack of reverence for the house of God is a tell-tell sign of the relationship of people to their Creator.

Comment on What About This Theory Of Evolution?

I agree Brother, if you set in Kevin's seminar and truly listen with an open mind he leaves no doubt that evolution is truly an impossiblity and honestly it takes 10 times the faith to believe in the Big Bang theory than in the One True and Living God Jehovah and His Son Yeshua or as we better know Him,Jesus Christ.God Bless and friend if you are not a believer?? I dare you to seek God,one moment with Him will dispell the lie of Evolution from your soul for an Eternity.

Comment on What About This Theory Of Evolution?

Absolutely clear!

Comment on What About This Theory Of Evolution?

I agree with Kevin ... he should know ...

But The Word is clear.
